The Bay Area Arts and Culture Alliance Art Squad is a group of individuals from the Greater Green Bay area who care about the art. The group meets quarterly to network, share their ideas and learn from each other. The idea and the force behind the initial convening is Kelli Strickland, Executive and Artistic Director of the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts. She saw that there was a need to pull our art community together in order to grow and thrive. Anyone interested in supporting our local art scene is free to attend.
Our meeting structure is as follows: 3 creative/organizations present on themselves or their organization followed with either a discussion on advocacy, economic development or fundraising. The meeting sites rotate with group members. Mosaic Arts is the organizer. Our next meeting is March 5, 4 p.m. at the Central Library.
