Artist Bio

My background includes the BA degree in Art from St. Norbert College and the MFA degree in Painting from Michigan State University.  These degrees were followed with post-graduate courses in photography, art metals, art education, and arts administration.

Over the decades, I have had a career in pursuing the arts – visiting artist at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater; adjunct professor of adult art classes and programs at the former UW-Fox Valley Center and UW-Green Bay Extension; manager of the former Green Bay Symphony Orchestra; promotions/fund raising executive for the Neville Public Museum Foundation; adjunct assistant professor of art at St. Norbert College; and, most recently, curator of art at the Neville Public Museum (until that position was discontinued in late 2013).

I have had the honor of jurying many exhibitions and art fairs, including high school and college-level student exhibitions, Arti Gras, and Artstreet.  I also had the extreme honor of speaking at the dedication of the Bush Art Center at St. Norbert College.

My work has been exhibited in juried and invitational shows throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest, including, but not limited to: Bradley University; Michigan State University; Southern and Eastern Illinois Universities; Beloit College; UW-Green Bay (several); Green Bay Community Theater; the former Milwaukee Art Museum; Charles Allis Art Museum; St. Norbert College (several); Neville Public Museum (several); Racine Art Museum; etc.

My work is also included in public, private, and corporate collections primarily in Wisconsin and Michigan.
