Jazz Fest 48 starring Janet Planet

Description: The spirited and vivacious Janet Planet has been self-produced and managed for the majority of her 35-year career. Described as a “sultry vocalist with a vast repertoire of jazz, blues, and standards…with some Bob Dylan thrown in for good measure” by New York Magazine, she’s the winner of six WAMI awards and a member of the WAMI Hall Of Fame. UW-Green Bay Jazz Fest, now in its 48th year, is a celebration of all things jazz, one of America’s great art forms. One of the oldest of its kind in Wisconsin, Jazz Fest encompasses a full day of student performances, clinics and master classes, culminating in student performances at 6:00pm, followed by the professional Green Bay Jazz Orchestra with special guest Janet Planet at 7:00pm. Want to learn about and experience other cultures? The Cultural evening presents two films, "Embattled Lands" and "Crow Stories". Embattled Lands - The mosaic of land rights, conservation and tourism compels a young Maasai warrior to use his voice in the fight for his livelihood and cultural traditions. Crow Stories - An impressionistic rendering of the passage of time, of lives, of weather and light on the Crow ancestral range.

Description: Joshua Albers and Craig Clifford explore how contemporary visual culture is shaped by both manual and mechanical processes such as ceramics, and digital media. Their collaborative exhibition looks at ways of capturing and reproducing form through established techniques such as mold-making and casting as well as emerging methods such as scanning and 3D printing. In their work, Clifford and Albers take a single element, such as a pre-existing physical object or a computer-rendered geometric shape, and repeat, manipulate, and arrange it to construct new visual experiences that contrast historical modes of object making with contemporary approaches of industrial mass-production.

He started his journey to get away from the fact. Unexpectedly he came in an animal city, met Barkley and other human like animal friends. Fido accidently found the city is dominated by a man who pretends to have infinite supernatural powers. This man convinced all animals to worship him unquestionably with dazzling tricks. Before dawn, he must make every effort with Barkley to reveal the secret.
